Finalist of a TVC competition (Australia) launched by the Loop and the arts channel Studio (SBS/Foxtel). The concept placed in the top 3 out of hundreds of submissions across Australia. The finished brand commercial is getting screened on STUDIO channel throughout the year.
Brief: Bring Studio's logo to life in a 30 second tv commercial.
The concept was born mixing high tech and no tech processes. The purpose is to bring Studio logo to life, as well as light and colours, with interactive design: neons are triggered by ultra sonic sensors whenever something is in front of it. The idea behind the use of lights is the expression "to bring the light into something". The whole installation is introducing the notion of art as entertainment, and is emphasising Studio's philosophy by the fact you are looking at the art literally through Studio, thanks to the cut-out banner. The aim was to get a simple but effective and vibrant visual effect, as an introduction to the TV programs of the channel.
