Creative and strategic art director & graphic designer with an eye for innovation and pixel perfection. I’ve worked the gamut of clients (Sheldon & Hammond, Rebel Sport, Brown Forman & CUB to name just a few) and although my skill set is vast, my greatest expertise revolve in the worlds of retail design, catalogue creative and social media. I am also experienced in content creation and print collateral. My wish is to combine my knowledge and experience in these areas, to deliver the best creative to my employer’s clients and their audiences and to work with happy people. I have a strong personal following in Twitter and Facebook as well as Pintrest and Tumbler. I also love coffee and croissants.
AGDA - the Australian Graphic Design Association is a group of like minded people who strive for design excellence. As a Council Member of AGDA we are at the forefront of design principles and we promote graphic design at the highest level - see the link:
At 121 Creative Circular Quay I provided clients with a range of creative services including branding, signage, print design, websites and marketing support for the city's financial institutions.
There was no limit for creativity and we always looked for something different to impress people.
The results - happy clients and growth in the studio.
Responsible for the creative in a department of 6 designers.
Mainly worked on catalogues, brochures, and corporate image.
My tasks involved art direction in the creative design studio as well as in the photographic studio, shooting anything from quality saucepans to kitchenware to cars, lounges etc.
I also art directed commercial work which included talent for clients such as Rebel Sport.
Highly commended - best creative

Creative from the ground up.
Ideas are at the core of my creative. I look at things and design from the ground up. Starting at the bare basics I conceptualise with words and messages until I’ve communicated the idea through to the consumer via what ever means I can - by using colour, typography, photography or illustration.
I am also an educator and trainer and facilitate students learn design.
Recently I have developed a selection of courses in the form of workshops that allow students to pick and chose what they want to learn so they can form a better understanding of graphic design. Students are given choices to learn things they find necessary to their needs like designing a brochure or formatting a newsletter for their organisation or simply putting together a website for their company.
Flexibility is paramount when delivering the courses. My workshop structure is designed to cater for the student’s needs and chosen method of learning. Student’s can chose to attend classes at night time or on weekends - or during the week on particular designated dates - it is up to the learner.
