Basically the design intern of the studio of 5, I assist in any ways possible whether that be by calling studios to designing posters and flyers
The service industry has been kind to me in teaching me the inter-relationship between service and customer satisfaction. Individual wants of the Club members had to be met with Club Business in mind no matter what the work load or time of day and night. Personal appearance and projection of personality were instilled by learned Managers.
Learnt people skills, how to talk to people, deal with customers and make them feel welcome in the establishment
Worked through the winter of 2009 as a fitness instructor. Duties
included monitoring clients and assisting anyone in need. Also included running
Inbody assessments on a daily basis and making telephone sales. This required
constant interaction with customers and making them feel welcome at the gym.
Served coffees, made sandwiches, cleaned dishes
Worked for a few weeks after finishing school as a boat builder and labourer, learning how to fibre glass, use tools, build with sheet metal and create metal frames for sheds
Finished in 2010 and graduated April 15th 2011. Used programs such as Maya, Archicad, sketch up. Learnt how to make concrete, use power tools and how to craft wood and metal. Also used a laser cutter. I know how to create a professional architectural document which can be read by other professions.
I created two posters to help promote a community. This was one of my early designs and the class was simply an introduction to graphic design. It did not go into kerning, leading and rules of graphic design in detail. I think I could do better now.
This award included students from both undergraduate studies and post grad

Recently finishing my studies I am now a graphic designer with 2+ years of experience working under Billy Blue College of Design as a junior designer with the Billy Blue Studio.
My background includes a bachelor's degree in Communication Design from Billy Blue College of Design and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Sydney University. I am an enthusiastic person, keen on taking anything on and love every challenge which comes at me. No matter the program or the medium I will give every project a go. This is evident in my studies where I chose to create the best possible design I could in each class.
In the downtime I will be found either by my sketchbook adding to my growing list of comic drawings or on the rugby pitch. Sports has taught me to work in teams and I am more than open to work with others.
