About Kym

Hello, I’m Kym, a senior designer with over 7 years industry experience and an eagerness to keep pushing the boundaries within the digital and print realm. I’m insatiably curious by nature, creative at heart and enjoy getting stuck into projects and working closely within teams to bring visions to life.

At Penguin Random House Australia I was responsible for working cross-section departments on campaigns for major authors such as Jamie Oliver, Michelle Bridges and Harper Lee. As a brand embassador, I am attentive to detail, but someone who also gets the bigger picture of strategic design thinking. I have a desire to produce the best experience for a user no matter the channel or device.

Multi-tasking is second nature, as is running a number of projects simultaneously, and working at the National Gallery Company (London) gave me valuable experience ensuring the smooth running of producing design deliverables.

I’m always hungry to learn, and ready to share, and looking to grow my skills base in a continuous learning environment. I understand the importance of instilling creativity and collaboration and always pushing the boundaries to deliver beyond a client’s expectations. Having relished in having a mentor of my own, I enjoy nurturing and developing more junior team members.

My ideal place to work would be with fun, talented and likeminded people in a creative and collaborative friendly environment. I look forward to be able to exert my good-humoured nature and contribute ideas in a positive atmosphere, pushing design in new directions.
