I completed a 6 month internship at Fairfax Digital within the design team of the Creative Services Unit. This position involved working on a wide variety of projects for both print and digital mediums, utilising graphic and web design skills Projects included the design of the Fairfax NewZealand website, an interface for a new iPhone application, commercial trade brochures and adverts for iPad.
I was awarded the Richard Dovey Medal for Design Excellence for my graduating project, 'Shoulder to Shoulder'. This involved my designs for a new identity, a book and a series of digital templates for the Australian Men's Shed Association.
Alongside industry professionals, I was successful in being selected as the sole student designer for this event. I produced 5 sets of designs, which I realised as graphic treatments and applied to tableware. The finished pieces were displayed at the Powerhouse, as well as being used by dining patrons at this event. They were subsequently sold at the Young Blood Designers Market.

I am a strategic thinker, an enthusiastic problem-solver and a keen collaborator. Currently employed as a designer at Wills Brand Design, I have also worked at Fairfax Digital, and as a freelancer for clients such as the Australian Men's Shed Association, the Opera Bar, and designers Me+Amber.
My project experience ranges from corporate to creative clients, and I have always actively sought out opportunities to work with community and not-for-profit groups.
