We are always looking and thinking of different ways to deliver a message. We believe that it is not necessarily what you say but the way you say it. Because of this, BlueMelon Design decided to take some beautiful, clean, crisp images of dead cigarettes just to see people's reactions.
"On the list" became an exercise for us to see how people responded to different visuals. Instead of showing the typical aggressive imagery that saturates today’s market, we wanted to try something different.
On completion of this exercise, most people preferred the idea of the dead cigarettes juxtaposition. “Dead cigarettes that look the way we probably look inside in a nice environment", said one of the consumers.
