A group project developed in 2011 as part of the curriculum at Wollongong TAFE. The Monsuta project was designed as a multi-player game based on the popular Pokemon series, but took the perspective of the Pokemon themselves rather than the trainers commanding them. The name 'Monsuta' is a reference to the Japanese term for 'monster', as we could not directly reference the Pokemon series in the title.
My primary role in this project was managing the art direction and producing most of the graphical assets - including the 3 characters presented here, the splash screen and the world map. I also programmed the mechanics of the camera so that a range of dynamic movement could be achieved with the mouse.
