About Me
I have been fortunate during my career to work on a variety of projects all of which I have been passionate about. While the content of each job has been diverse the roles have predominantly been in management. From television production manager and producer across the genres of screen production, to event manager; from Business and Strategic Planning for NGO’s or small businesses to career planning for artists and individuals; from design work for printed material to writing web content.
For the past four years I have been working with SeaStarr Management Solutions Ltd as a project manager. In this role I have been able to combine my passions for social change and the arts. My most recent project is Creative Momentum a virtual movement aimed at creative diversity. I have worked with several NGO’s assisting them create their Strategic and Business plans. I have assisted artists and creative individuals create career plans much of which is about providing focus and direction and identifying areas for further professional development.
I am currently in the development phase for The Playground Creative Project Management. The Playground combines my nearly 20 years experience in project and production management with the vast network of creatives and artists I have developed. The aim of The Playground is to take the clients idea and make it reality in the best way possible, and have some fun along the way.
I also own originalheART.co.nz, an online art gallery focused on art for and by children. The gallery began in January 2008 and sells artworks internationally. It currently hosts some incredibly talented artists and plans are to expand the range of artworks exhibited and broaden the scope of art genres represented.
