Part tribute, part parody, they rework vintage gems from the 60s, 70s and 80s, that continues to push the envelope of the perennially popular girl group format by taking there show outside the square and giving the savvy Sydney audience something different to sip on....
The Margarita's have elements of cabaret, burlesque (no strip tease alas!) with a deliciously wicked sense of humour that would make Benny Hill blush.
Indeed, with a cartwheel here, a slap on the bum there, their visual appeal and sporadic bursts of the unexpected make for extraordinary entertainment.
