Seven Network is the leading free to air capital city television network.
Seven reaches 13 million viewers per month and includes digital channels, 7TWO and 7Mate.
Seven has commercial networks in each metro city and regional Queensland. Seven also has regional affiliates broadcasting Seven content in Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.
Seven is recognised as the leader in breakfast television, news and public affairs, and Australian-produced drama and sports programming - our reputation being built on a commitment to produce and deliver programming relevant to Australians. We produce more Australian drama series for television than any other network. And our partnerships with the Australian Football League and the fastest-growing sport in Australia, V8 Supercars, underpins our leadership in sports television.
The Seven Network is part of Seven West Media Limited which includes Pacific Magazines, the country's second largest magazine group by readership; Yahoo!7 one of the nation’s most successful internet platforms, as well as Western Australia's leading newspaper, The West Australian and associated WA regional newspapers and radio stations. Seven West Media was created through the acquisition of Seven Media Group by West Australian Newspapers Holdings Limited in April 2011.
Seven's planning for the future is built on the knowledge that television will continue to dominate communications - as the gateway for audiences through "traditional" television programming and the integration of internet and other online and broadband viewing options. This commitment underpins Seven's Yahoo!7 partnership with Yahoo! Inc. Yahoo!7 brings together the successful Australian internet business, Yahoo! Australia & NZ, and Seven's online assets and television and magazine content. The company also combines the strengths of Yahoo! search and communications capabilities and its global internet network, with Seven's rich media and entertainment content and marketing capabilities. The joint venture is driving the online, mobile and IPTV businesses of both companies in Australia.
