General office duties, transcribing episodes and assisting on shoots for Can of Worms (Channel 10)
Mentored by staff on the daily operations of the station and the technical aspects of radio production. Tasks included general office duties, research, sourcing interviewees, scheduling advertising and producing podcasts. The training also involved hosting the program for up to an hour on a given day which included interviewing a variety of personalities live on air.
Responsible for front of desk operations, assisting executive staff and distributing phone inquiries to over 30 company employees. Tasks encompassed core office duties such as filing, database management, recording meeting minutes and processing invoices. In 2012, I was invited back to Lyndon to produce a short film about the organisation’s approach to Indigenous drug and alcohol treatment in rural NSW, as a media tool for conference presentations and funding applications.
