After completing a Master of Arts degree in journalism at UTS, I landed my first official role as a producer - funded by my tertiary alma mater, UTS - within Radio 2ser, where I have been volunteering since 2008.
The program: "The Fourth Estate" is a weekly half hour foray into all that exists within the world of media and communications. It airs Friday from 9am on 107.3fm: Radio 2ser, Sydney and nationally via the Community Radio Network every Monday afternoon from 1.30pm.
An ongoing contract funded by 2ser's university affiliates, UTS and Macquarie, requiring weekly preparation; reporting; production to eventual scripting and presenting for broadcast both locally in Sydney and nationally via the Community Radio Network.
The role also requires directing and supervising volunteer contributors who provide content for the show to the eventual publication of podcast and file downloads via the self-designed blogspot site.
