What you’ll be doing:
The Communications Advisor’s role is to partner with the business
to develop and implement visually impactful and effective strategies and
materials to help employees and subcontractors understand and engage with the
business’ direction, priorities, culture and contractual obligations. This role
will be responsible for creating fresh visual communication materials that
resonate with a broad audience whilst supporting the ongoing development of the
ISGM brand identity, often in a co-branded environment with our client. Challenging the status quo on the use of
proven and emerging communication tools and channels will ensure success in
and subcontractor communications in line with the business unit objectives and
in a way that takes employees and subcontractors on our journey, as well as
delivering improvements in employee engagement and cultural alignment.
Develop and design visually engaging
communications material, including infographics, videos, e-mail messages,
newsletters, webcasts/podcasts, surveys, meetings, presentations etc;
Develop strong working relationships
with key ISGM people, providing advice on communication process while
reinforcing an understanding of communications
Develop and implement dynamic
communications strategy for business unit in consultation with contract leads
that focus on supporting the delivery of ISGM/Client ongoing operational
Contribute to a Communications Calendar
to plan for national, state and local events and activities
Monitor and advise on external
communications risks and opportunities
Report, analyse and present results of
Develop and support administration of
iEngage activities such as reward and recognition programs, engagement,
training, personal development and iHealth programs
Champion our Corporate Social
Responsibility framework and maintain strong relationships with community
Ensure two way communications channels
are open and accessible for staff and subcontractors
Organise events and activities to
engage subcontractors and employees and reinforce ISGM’s culture and values
such as roadshows, conferences, feedback sessions etc
Update website and intranet content.
What we’re looking for:
At least five years of visual communications
experience, preferably with an industrial organisation in a corporate
communications or internal communications role;
Ability to adapt complex, technical
information into easy to understand communications (visual & written)
Strong attention to detail;
Experience with emerging communication
technologies including social media
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to
liaise at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation;
Adaptability to changing environments and
Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on
Ability to use own initiative;
Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic
self-starter with the drive to contribute consistently high standards of
thinking and delivery around internal and external communication.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in visual
communications, marketing, graphic design and/or related business field.

Skills & experience
Proven experience in social media strategy development and success in social media management, ideally within an agency or in multi-brand environment.
You are an expert in your craft - you are up to date and in touch with what's happening in social in the commercial world, and know how to apply your knowledge practically.
Exceptional communication skills, particularly written, with the ability to promote engaging conversations across a variety of platforms.
Capable of managing multiple accounts with changing priorities.
Ability to problem solve and identify alternatives.

for our private labels including packaging, social and visual merchandising
conceptual and creative execution
for e-commerce department including results driven and brand aligned eDMs
Nice to haves - gosh, we’d love it if you:
have experience with video editing,
preferably in Final cut pro
can demonstrate experience and
growth across social platforms
can demonstrate experience in pre
and post production of photoshoots, and
have had experience in the hair
and/or beauty sector
