Vector Illustrator/Graphics Designer

3P Learning, Australia’s leading educational technology publisher is seeking a mid level Vector Illustrator/Graphics Designer. The contract will run for 3 months and be extended should your performance meet our requirements. The position is full time and you are required to work at our North Sydney office.
3P Learning’s resources are already used in over 4500 schools from all education sectors and 1.3 million Australian students, with millions more worldwide. Our flagship programs are Mathletics, Reading Eggs and Spellodrome.
We are transforming teaching and learning and we continue to develop cutting edge e-learning resources. 3P Learning has recently launched its products in the US, UK, Asia, Europe, Canada, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
Job Scope
You will be expected to:
- create highly detailed vector illustrations aim at junior and high school students
- design user interfaces for web and apps in IOS and Android devices
- cover other minor duties such as designing printed materials and logos
Your Skills
You must be very proficient in:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Flash
You should have basic skills in:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
Your Role and Profile
Meticulous attention to details and ability to adapt to various graphic/illustration styles is a must. You should possess fundamental understanding of light and shadow, perspective drawing and good sense of colours and composition.
You should be fluent in English, have good communication and time management skills, as you will be required to collaborate with the existing Graphic and Technology Teams to meet all objectives of the projects.
Hiring Process
Our hiring process is quite simple. Once if you are shortlisted, we will pay you to complete a freelance illustration. This is to test your communication and vector illustration skills. If you are successful at that, you are then offered a fixed term position to work at our office.
