After the much celebrated re-opening of the iconic Hamer Hall, we are now launching a new and exciting program of Digital Arts ( including screen-based, installation, online, mobile and live event projects), developing a Digital Arts studio and assessing the feasibility of upgrading related Digital Learning infrastructures.

About the Position
We need an experienced Production Manager/Studio Manager to oversee the technical processes involved in the production and delivery of Digital Arts and moving image projects, whilst contributing to creative development and advising on the design and implementation of interactive media.

Providing overall management of Arts Centre Melbourne’s Digital Arts studio and taking responsibility for the maintenance of related technical infrastructures, this role is also responsible for managing the operational budget and establishing media production methods, procedures and technical guidelines. An exciting challenge for this role will be to project manage the development and implementation of a fully functioning digital arts studio that supports the commissioning of new work by artists, artists in residence as well as the development and production of interactive media, sound and moving image.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualifications in either interactive media, design, digital arts or related discipline;
* Proven experience in a digital production environment;
* Advanced knowledge and competency using a range of interactive media and audio-visual technologies;
* Ability interpreting complex technical requirements;
* Experience managing projects through to completion, including budget and resource management;
* Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement operational procedures and guidelines
Bring your exceptional ability to build and leverage strong industry networks, highly developed technical skills, and your ability to collaborate on and manage multiple projects to make this role your own!

Experience in interaction design and/or exposure to the creative use of audio-visual display technologies will give you a strong advantage in this role.
