Social Media Producer

This role will see you jumping into the world of social television working on a brand new entertainment/reality TV show. Working closely with the show creators and the digital team at TEN, this role involves incorporating social media and community management and content production on a week-to-week basis to support the show engagement and interaction.
The role on a day-to-day basis involves supporting the management of Twitter and Facebook channels from a community management perspective.
The social media producer will work with show producers and social and digital media teams on a weekly basis to create engaging content, which may involve experience in photography and video production.
You will need to be highly organized, manage the demands of multiple stakeholders and be capable of working autonomously. An understanding of online culture and an understanding of television production is essential. Experience live tweeting events or television or working in a fast-paced online environment would also be beneficial.
This role ideally needs two years’ experience in digital media content production with a minimum of one year hands-on experience in social media. Photography and Video production experience is also an advantage but not essential.
The working hours are centered around show production and broadcast, which will involve weekend and night work. The role will have between 20 and 30 hours per week. The role is required for 12 weeks.
