I'm not going to chuck around words like "cool" and "awesome", "trendy", "funky" because really, EVERY ad you see from a recruiter says that these days so it's a bit same, same and boring.

The CD (also the owner) is a seriously clever businessman, with forward-thinking and long-term plans for the business. He's someone who doesn't micro-manage or interfere with your job. Someone who does respect, recognise and more importantly - value - your talents and strengths. He's definitely someone who knows how to engage others and utilise their skills and I don't know about you, but that's something that I definitely look for in a boss!
I read a lot of surveys, and 90% of them all say that "job satisfaction" is the criteria most experienced professionals seek these days. Along with work/lifestyle balance, flexibility and of course the right remuneration. The owner of this business gets all that. And that means you'll benefit!
I'm looking for a solid history of agency experience, a very broad range of design which must include solid branding and identity work. Strong print, organisational, communication and client relationship skills. Intermediate knowledge of online design and a desire to expand in this area (it's ok, they already have a web designer so you'll only be doing about 20% online work) and most importantly of all - the right attitude!
