SENIOR FEATURES WRITER
Sydney, New South Wales
Based at Media City in Eveleigh and reporting to the Features Editor, you will be a smart, enthusiastic all-rounder capable of turning your hand to anything from health and nutrition to motivational features and real-life stories.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating and researching stories ranging from newsy 100-word items to involved 2000-word features on a wide range of subjects, all written to the highest standard, with an engaging, intelligent and empowering tone.
You will have demonstrated experience as a senior journalist, coupled with a keen interest in all things health-related. You'll be bursting with brilliant feature ideas, be able to write sharp, witty and intelligent copy, and have solid commissioning/editing skills.
In addition to a passion for magazines, you will have an eye for detail, a commitment to clean, well-structured copy, and a great interviewing technique.
