Thirst Studios are a respected UX design team based in central Melbourne. We're on the look-out for a super-organised Project / Studio Manager to join our friendly, close-knit team as a maternity leave replacement.
You'll be responsible for managing all projects from initial scoping and estimation through resource planning to testing and quality assurance, ensuring everyone on the team knows where they're supposed to be and what they're supposed to be working on at all times.
As the conduit between the studio and our clients, you'll be adept at managing expectations, keeping everyone in the loop, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time and to budget.
Essentially, you're the most organised person in the room. You're cool as a cucumber and work really well under pressure. You probably organise your DVDs alphabetically and threw the best parties in high school.Key responsibilities:

Producer- Ecommerce & Studios
The Digital Producer
is responsible for managing scope and delivery for Disney’s ecommerce
experience, as well as online experiences to support Studio releases. This role
includes managing Disney’s internal ecommerce Production team and implementing projects
and tasks that meet Business Area goals and KPIs within available timelines and
budgets. Key functions of the role
include delivery of content updates across a portfolio of sites, and
maintenance of effective production and programming documentation. An eye for
detail and a passion for delivering engaging and inspiring customer experience
into the retail strategy to increase conversion and reduce leakages
with Disney Interactive, Disney Retail/Licensing, Studio, Franchise Marketing
and other key stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured

ecommerce partners to ensure the best solution is delivered within the

Act as quality
gatekeeper of content updates, ensuring all updates are proofread, optimised
for search engines, and align with brand identity and TOV.
maintaining project management and collaboration tool details, including content
plans and Basecamp to do lists and milestone dates.
Work with all IM
team members to manage WIP, maintaining accurate WIP documentation and ongoing
production planning calendars.
Co-ordinate with Retail,
Studio, Marketing and Franchise teams to create and update detailed content
plans, maintaining programming schedules with content refreshes across the
portfolio of sites, ensuring their effective sharing with all stakeholders.

Own the issues log (including assignment, QA and release) as per the
business priorities. Manage live site QA,
coordinating IM team and internal stakeholders to ensure approved and
error-free updates are completed.
Monitor site performance and track, prioritise and

Assist with communication of site updates and campaign

You'll need outstanding commincations skills and an excellent understanding of professional photography studios and equipment. Sure, you might have more to learn, but we're certainly not looking for a beginner so you'll need to impress us with good credentials, relevent experience and appropriate references to even get a foot in the door for an interview.
The successful applicant will work with us across every aspect of the Eleven40 business and will potentially graduate to the position of studio manager should they prove themselves. You'll get to work with some of the best photographers, directors and producers in the business, you'll have the best studio and equipment resources in Melbourne at your disposal, while also learning and helping out with business management, marketing and social media.
