About us

Cancer Council Victoria has been leading the fight against cancer since 1936 by focussing on research, prevention, support and advocacy programs that deliver better outcomes for people affected by cancer. The Print & Digital Services team provides an expert service in graphic and web design, web development, project management and print production to support business units.

About the role

We are seeking a Print & Digital Manager to join the Print & Digital Services team. Reporting to the Operations Director you will lead the team and manage the portfolio of print and digital services overseeing design, development, production and procurement of Cancer Council Victoria print and online resources. You will manage the budget and cost recovery model, delivery of customer service excellence, oversee brand compliance of corporate and sub-brands and promote the services of the team to support Cancer Council strategic objectives.

About you

With significant experience working in the production of print and digital publications in a managerial role in the print, design, web or publishing industry you will have advanced management skills and the ability to lead and manage a team. You will have a good understanding and knowledge of; industry standard graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and web development systems, brand awareness and working within brand guidelines, understanding of effective graphic design and the ability to critique and offer guidance on design direction, web design standards, project management, financial management and a demonstrated commitment to service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to develop working relationships with internal and external partners as well as relate to a range of clients with varying needs.

Salary and benefits

This is a full-time fixed term maternity leave position to 13 November 2013 with a Total Equivalent Package Value within range $80,792- $95,045 pa (includes base salary, superannuation, annual leave loading and maximum benefit of salary packaging).
