We are looking for an analytical and commercially driven Online Product Merchandiser to join our Head Office team. This is a new position that has been created to translate consumer and business insights into good online merchandising decisions on our website to continually improve commercial results.
If you have experience in fashion apparel merchandising and online/ecommerce skills in a retail or like business and have worked in a blended analytical/creative role and passionate for fashion and pop culture, then this position in our team could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
This role will be responsible for the management of the segmentation and presentation of our products, brands, categories and sub categories on the General Pants website.
The successful person will work closely with our Online Marketing team, while reporting directly to our Online Channel Manager to maximise the conversion of site visitors to sale from product on our website to drive increased revenue for the channel.
To be on top of it, we're looking for someone who has a proven ability to build and nurture meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders, not afraid to throw out new and creative ideas and you will know what's going on with competing retailers and what's on the horizon…
A strong analytical orientation, strong verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, strong planning and organising skills, the ability to work cross functionally, confidence in Microsoft Office, excel intermediate skills a must and a track record of delivering results above and beyond what's expected are all essential. Ideally we are looking for candidates with 2+ years ecommerce or product merchandising experience with degree qualifications.
