Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be working between the Pacific Magazines office in Eveleigh and the Yahoo!7 office in Walsh Bay. You will be responsible for implementing the digital content strategy for the website as well as other digital executions for the brand. You will also work closely with the magazine team to develop upcoming content plan for the site and assist with moderation of social media, comments and other user generated content.
Able to work to a deadline, you will be sourcing, editing and uploading written content, images, videos, newsletters and competitions utilising the content management system.
You will have a passion for the internet and social media and a demonstrated ability to understand the online medium and the content opportunities within it. HTML and Photoshop capabilities are an advantage and you must be efficient working with Internet communications and publishing tools / protocols, as well as an interest in celebrity, news, entertainment and lifestyle content.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure integration between the site and the printed magazine. You will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work to deadline.
You must have the ability and desire to work effectively and maintain focus in a fast-paced, fun, exhilarating environment. Experience working within a media or online environment is essential with experience in editorial publishing an advantage. Degree qualification is essential.
