De Republica is a young, bright, and talented digital collective who’re experiencing great momentum in their first official year of business. Our clients range from start-ups to fashion labels, all the way to bigger international brands.
What sets us apart is our focus on two core areas; digital services and content production.
We bring equal weight to these areas, and at any given time in the studio you may witness UX work, app development, brand design to castings, storyboarding, and editing.
We believe consistent quality content for brands is as important as the websites and platforms they occupy; thus, we aim to provide both of these and much, much more.
We’re a tight knit team who enjoy the thrill of a beautifully executed project. We work hard and adhere to tight deadlines, but we’re also firm believers in a balanced lifestyle and can provide flexibility where needed.
It’s a young enthusiastic environment with exciting potential for growth; projects vary and can range from small websites, to brand design and film production – to ongoing internal startup concepts.
We believe great ideas can come from anywhere at anytime and encourage all members to contribute to discussions. New startup ideas, film concepts and everything in-between are nurtured and supported.
De Republica is looking for a motivated Digital Designer with excellent conceptual and problem-solving skills. You should be professional and always looking to learn and improve on all facets of your skill set. Eager to contribute, you should be excited and dedicated to your craft, always looking for inspiration and willing to voice your ideas.
A sense of humor wouldn’t go astray here, and AFK (Away From Keyboard) passions are also highly regarded.
Using your can-do attitude you will take on projects from conception through to launch, liaising seamlessly along the way with clients, developers, and the art director. You will be a great team player, but also able to work autonomously.
Projects will largely be digital focused, but you will also be expected to work across branding concepts, and assist the content department.
The role would initially be a 3 month contract with view to a full-time position.
Knowledge of various CMS, EDM, and E-Commerce systems and services. Wordpress, Drupal, Campaign Monitor, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce.
We offer competitive rates which will be based on skill set and experience level.
Please send us your brilliant work – (either via a portfolio website, blog, PDF, or even a list of recent links) - whatever you wish, plus a very brief cover letter and CV.
Sometimes you get to combine what you care about with your employment.
