Simon & Schuster Australia is seeking an innovative,
creative, and enthusiastic Marketing & Publicity Manager to develop
and implement campaigns and secure media exposure for some of its leading
international and local authors.
Working within a fully integrated marketing and publicity
department, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all
aspects of their campaigns from multi-channel
marketing, generating publicity (including author events and tours), and social
media and digital community building and management. While experience is not
required in all these areas the ideal candidate will have strong experience
working within a marketing and/or publicity environment and possess a strong
passion and understanding of how these components work together to execute a
fully formed, multichannel consumer campaign.
Reporting to the Marketing & Publicity Director and
working within an ambitious and forward-thinking team the successful candidate
will be a dynamic, flexible big-thinker who is comfortable working within a
fast-paced work environment and has a strong interest in analysis and consumer
