The Foxtel Networks Australia Factual Channels Digital team is now looking for a digital all-rounder to join the team as the Digital Manager! This role will work with the Head of Marketing to conceive, brief, acquire and facilitate highly engaging online content for the relevant channel websites and schedule content upload and website delivery correctly and accurately in conjunction with the channel requirements. The role also requires management of digital producers as well as hands-on publishing.
The Factual Channels are A&E, crime + investigation and HISTORY.
What you will do:Work with Head of Marketing to develop strategic plans and content initiatives to promote channel prioritiesWork with the Digital Operations Manager to ensure channel websites and show sections meet the channel needs from a technical perspectiveWork with Digital Producers to ensure content is produced, accurate and delivered on time to meet marketing and commercial objectivesExplore new digital opportunities that deliver marketing and commercial potentialWork with sales team to ensure websites present required commercial opportunities and obligationsWork with the Advertising Sales team to develop strategies to ensure programming sponsors are integrated into programming websites in a non-advertorial and engaging wayCreate new sponsor opportunities outside of local productionsCollaborate with the Marketing Executive and Digital producers, and be responsible for end to end implementation of digital aspects of marketing campaigns - including eDMs, website content and social mediaAnalyse, report on and optimise digital initiatives and performance Manage and monitor online and social marketing activities ensuring all marketing content is relevant and in line with marketing campaigns

The Digital Designer will work in conjunction with the Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to fulfil the business’ design requirements - spanning UI, digital marketing, and desktop publishing.
UX design - designing and mapping user flows and journeys
Responsive UI design - designing high-fidelity user interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices
Illustration - creating custom iconography, marketing collateral, etc.
Digital marketing - designing, and executing (display, social, EDM) digital campaigns in collaboration with the digital marketing manager
Conversion optimisation - iteratively improving existing pages to improve conversion rates
Desktop publishing - creating publication documents using InDesign for print and digital use
(preferred) Photography - photographing clients and producing marketing collateral
Required Skills and Experience
2+ years relevant experience
Good sense of visual design, layout, composition, and typography
Understanding of user experience and conversion rate optimisation principles and best practices
Ability to work with the tech and marketing team to implement designs
Experience working with grids and responsive frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation)
Excellent knowledge of the Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro (preferred), After Effects (optional), UXPin (or similar), Unbounce, Mailchimp
(preferred) Photographic experience

We’re an Ultimo based start-up that’s looking for a HTML developer to join us as a permanent contractor.
You can work between 3 to 5 days per week depending upon your situation and other commitments and either work from home or at our offices. We’re opening offices in Dhaka and London next year, so if you fancy moving abroad, the opportunity could present itself to do it with us.
The initial role is to focus solely on creating email newsletters, which seamlessly render across all browsers and devices. You really do need to be a gun developer when coding these.
Additionally, you’ll work on the front-end of our web application once current UX work finishes later this year.
