Graphic designer, new product design

Started in 2010, we've grown from a seed of an idea into a flourishing business and we are currently taking our operations and product lines to the next level.
Sow 'n Sow create Gifts of Seeds - designer gift cards which double as a packet of seeds. We also produce custom designed Gifts of Seeds for corporate promotions and special events.
We’re after a talented graphic designer to work with us in-house on projects including:
-New product design
-Working to client briefs on custom Gift of Seed designs
-Marketing collateral including catalogue and brochure layout, flyers, website visuals etc
Skills:
-Adobe creative suite
-Illustration
-Artworking/ finished art
-Experience or interest in packaging design/ dielines/ paper craft
-Photography skills a plus but not essential
This role will suit someone who is creative, loves a challenge, can work well collaboratively, thinks outside the box and is sympathetic to our design style. We come from a background working in leading advertising and branding agencies and as such we run our projects professionally but make sure to have fun at the same time.
We're looking initially for someone to work on casual freelance basis, at our studio in Northcote.
If desired there will be opportunities for the candidate to assist with the day to day running of the business such as organising and assembly of wholesale and webshop orders.
This role would suit either an up-and-comer who is looking to learn the ropes of running a creative small-business, or someone with lots of experience who wants to take a step back from the corporate/ 9-5 treadmill, with the possibility of becoming a more permanent part of the business as we grow. We offer flexible hours and working conditions - pets or young children welcome.
