As a Senior Designer, you'll be instrumental in developing and leading brand and graphic design projects. Your work will be varied and diverse.
As a key design influencer you will need the following skills and attributes:A strategic and creative thinker who can clearly and confidently communicate ideas.Confidence to drive a vision - from initial brief through to final execution.An expert Identity and Brand creator experienced in the creation and presentation of a brand evolution or revolution.Technically highly proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite.Strong print production experience essential.Strong digital design understanding highly regarded.Minimum 10 years agency or studio experience.A cheerful, optimistic and engaged nature and attitude
What is Paper Pocket?
Paper Pocket is a
stationery brand that was established three years ago with a portfolio of 12
products. This has now grown to more than 200 products, with plans for
continual expansion. As part of Universal Magazines, Paper Pocket is backed by
more than 30 years’ media industry experience.
Working closely with
the Paper Pocket team, the successful candidate will work on the development of
existing and new brands, from end-to-end idea development through to product
design, ensuring all marketing collateral across print and digital mediums are
of the highest calibre, including point of sale, campaigns and proposal
presentations. This is a full- or part-time role, based in North Ryde, with
flexible working hours on offer for the right candidate. You will be
continually supported by a team of enthusiastic Individuals who love what they
do and will be presented with the opportunity to hone your creative skill set
and be involved with the launch of new products from start to finish.

development across diaries, calendars and journal ranges
forecast and interpret trends and product design in the stationery category
150+ different products: diaries, calendars and journals (stationery range)
Work with national
and global brands through licensed product development
design across the entire portfolio
based around hand illustration/and digital graphics
(existing and new)
part of a team to complete assigned projects within the time frames provided
outside the square and challenge briefs wherever possible, including
understanding license partner requests, and offer the best design solutions
A strong design
portfolio including illustration work
drawing and hand illustration skills
in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
attention to detail
work collaboratively within a high-performing team and a dynamic working
environment, as well as competence to work autonomously
Be able to
meet tight deadlines
tertiary design qualification (previous industry experience is highly regarded
but not essential)
in design for digital platforms including website, social media handles and
other electronic communication is desirable

As an Oxfam Australia Graphic Designer, you will create print
and digital concepts, design and finished artwork in line with Oxfam branding
guidelines. The Graphic Designer works closely with all other members of the Communications
team and provides expert design advice to other Oxfam staff on a range of
digital and print materials. You will support
the objectives of a large number of internal stakeholders and contribute to
Oxfam’s vision of a just world without poverty. Strong organisational and interpersonal
skills are critical.
You will have the following experience as outlined in the key selection
criteria below. Please ensure you address each one in your application:
1. Recognised qualification in Graphic Design with several years'
2. Demonstrated experience in publication and print layout design and
advanced knowledge of Adobe CC.
3. Strong concept development skills and demonstrated experience in
delivering high quality visual designs.
4. Strong knowledge of digital design, with experience designing for
websites, email and social media (experience in Adobe animate and HTML5
5. Strong communication, time management and organisational skills, with
demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously to tight
timelines and under pressure.
