Front-end Developer

The must haves:
+ Proven experience of current HTML & CSS best-practices
+ Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including jQuery, DOM scripting, AJAX requests and functional programming
+ Efficient workflow methods by employing tools such as Chrome Developer Tools, Charles
+ Proxy, working with boilerplates etc
+ Building sites that respond to different browsers and devices (IE, iOS, Android, Touch Screens etc.)
+ Working with designs provided in Photoshop and Illustrator and liaising with design team on crafting the best possible output
+ String interest in touch devices and experience building sites that respond to different touch events
+ Experience working with an inline template language — (PHP, Ruby etc.)
+ We're a Mac studio; working with OSX, Terminal, TextMate/Sublime2 (or text editor of your choice) is a must
+ Great time-management skills incl. juggling multiple jobs at one time and time-sheeting all activity on a daily basis
+ GIT version control experience
A few bonus points:
+ Knowledge of server-side programming
+ Ability to work in Terminal
+ Understanding of mvc

+ The Implementation of interactive-touch screens, web-apps, websites and mobile designs; demonstrating high-level of proficiency and strong knowledge of web standards and best practice
+ Take a prominent role, and provide deep insight during discussions / planning / and implementation of new and existing sites in relation to usability and information architecture
+ Maintaining and updating existing customer projects
+ Have, and continually evolve knowledge in the latest web design and development trends
+ Map HTML content to the BlocksGlobal templating language
+ Develop pixel-perfect websites/webApps based on direction from our fastidious creative team
+ Knowledgeable about cross-browser issues and testing.
