As a Content Specialist working for iProspect, you will play an essential role developing digital content across multiple formats for our clients. Being a true creative with a minimum 2 years of agency experience, you think in content stories, and can execute best-in-class story telling that connects audiences to brand across mediums including creative campaign development, interactive experiences, editorial content, thought leadership content, socially-led content and competitions. In a nutshell, you will be generating fresh and innovative concepts that underpin visually-engaging campaigns, interactive experiences, shareable assets and compelling copy to engage. This is no ordinary 9-5. But then again, you are no ordinary person!
With a close relationship to SEO, SMM and brand, you will be responsible for deliverables that drive social engagement and interaction, match consumption intent with content, increase search performance (traffic, time on site, page views per session), brand affinity, position clients as thought leaders and innovators, lead generation and conversion.
Strategically, you have hands-on experience in best practice content strategy for large brands. Creatively, you know what it takes to cultivate engagement and how to leverage data and insights to further focus your ideas.
Having performed content audits and competitor content analysis, you're able to unearth content opportunities that drive engagement both onsite and off, as well as make recommendations that help cement new business opportunities during the pitch discovery phase.
Working in collaboration with clients, you will also steer all aspects of the editorial process from ideation to briefing freelancers, copy editing and final delivery - ensuring content is tailored and fit for purpose, resonates with clients' audiences and is analytically-considerate of trends and audience insights. Being a capable copywriter, you have a refined, working knowledge of sentence structure, grammar, appropriate use of language and writing flow and tempo.
It is imperative that you also understand where content marketing fits in the bigger picture of SEO and the client's marketing strategy as a whole, as you will be responsible for driving ROI and performance in line with soft and hard client KPIs as aforementioned, through well-conceived and executed content. You are therefore expected to have a demonstrable grasp of developments in search, content marketing and social media, with an ability to construct and communicate content plans and proposals that exhibit recommendations that demonstrate clear solutions in response to a client brief. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and highly organised, strategic thinker with boundless creativity and capacity for fresh ideas, and a desire to help shape a growing capability within the agency. In particular, you will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a creative agency environment (content-focused role)
- Proven ability to generate clever and engaging creative content ideas
- Editorial/article topic ideation for blogs and other written content across a variety of categories
- Strong copy-editing and copywriting ability
- First class communication skills - internal/external workshops, client-facing
- Ability to perform research and interpret information into concise and engaging content that underpins creative concepts and campaigns
- Having worked closely with designers and developers on creative projects
- Hands-on experience with content audits, including competitor analysis
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, juggling multiple projects at once
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with creative team and content director
