Fresco Creative is a fast paced design agency based in the creative hub of Surry Hills. We offer a full creative service including; branding, design for print, packaging design, advertising, and digital design.
We are looking for a self-starter with creative design ability. The right person for this role posses the right skills to support the directors with account management by taking on a minor leadership role in our company. As an intrinsic member of our team you will demonstrate strong leadership qualities that will contribute to Fresco Creative's aim of producing highest quality and best practice outcomes for our clients. Your main responsibilities will be in supporting the directors in the day to day management of their design studio, your secondary role will be in supporting the designers with any overflow design work.
You need to be a highly responsible, well organised, pro-active individual. A productive go-getter with attention to detail and good time management skills. If you are a talented multi-tasker with competent-level graphic design skills and the ability to work autonomously this is the job for you. The successful applicant will be actively hands-on and offer design support to all aspects of the design process.
This position would suit someone who wants to further their experience in a design studio, who understands the client management side of a creative business or someone who once owned their own business who still wants a hand in design whilst building on their account management skills.
The successful applicant will be required to perform an array of daily activities such as; handling new business enquiries, quote creation, timeline setting, time management, print management, client servicing and mid level design.
Strong client liaison skills and ability to problem solve under pressure are a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary as there will be ongoing direct client contact.
To make this position yours you must have a minimum 2 years experience working in an executive assistant or business support role and be willing to commit to our company for a period of time.
A diploma or degree in marketing, web design or graphic design a bonus.
The role would involve 70% account management (support role) and 30% design
Salary dependant on experience and skill set

So, where do you fit in?
One of our dearly beloved designers is going on a well deserved break, and we need someone to step up to the plate and take over the reigns (an ability to unmix metaphors is a bonus).
This will be a short stint of:
Helping us document the outcomes of research and workshops in the form of Personas, Service Blueprints, User Journeys, etc.
Capture the concepts and recommendations of the project team in Workflows, Wireframes, Content Architectures, etc.
Evaluating, auditing, testing and reviewing prototypes and recommending improvements for the implementation team.
Generally having a reasonable time and getting along with nice people without being overstressed or undervalued (this stuff is important to us).
Finally, although this ad is about filling an immediate need, there is absolutely room for a longer term arrangement if we like the cut of each others’ jib.

What is The White Tree?
The White Tree is a group of like-minded photographers, filmmakers and musicians who have started a wedding based company that offers these three key creative services for “modern weddings”.
What do we mean by “modern weddings”, is that even a thing?!
We believe there is such a thing as a “modern wedding”. It basically defines an industry and a discerning bride and groom that now actually gives-a-shit about the creative elements of the BIG day. Yes yes, we are well aware of the stigma associated with weddings and we know that in terms of photography, you wouldn’t think that some of the best talent in these fields are now getting involved in the Australian wedding industry…but it’s quite true. If you don’t believe us, check out the likes of Hello May and Hitched magazine, the One Fine Day bridal fair and blogs such as Polka Dot Bride. You’ll quickly see that all sorts of providers in the industry are delivering impressive work with genuine artistic integrity.
Why does this sound like a pitch, and why are we trying to convince you that weddings are cool?
Well, we are setting our sights high and are looking for some of the very best photographers to join our crew. We are aware that the initial idea of shooting weddings seems like a step down from fashion, advertising and documentary photography. Obviously in some respects it is, but in other areas, it is actually incredibly challenging, rewarding, creative and lucrative.
