Digital Education Producer

We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Educational Program Producer. The Producer would be responsible for managing several General Assembly classes and courses from ideation to production to execution. The Producer would have a key role in multiple processes running for each course, including:
Instructor Recruiting: Finding talented instructors and subject matter experts is the key to developing great educational programs. The Producer will leverage General Assembly’s community and network to source and evaluate the right people for the job.
Curriculum Development: The Producer coordinates with our in-house instructional designer and subject matter experts to develop transformative, robust curricula for General Assembly programs that is rewarding to students and enticing to potential employers.
Program Execution: The Producer manages all aspects of program execution and isn’t afraid to get his or her hands dirty. From making sure the instructors show up on time to checking the A/V to writing copy and coordinating program marketing with our email team, the Producer ensures everything is in place.
Strategic Planning and Guidance: General Assembly is a young, fast-growing company, and strategic decisions need to be made on the fly. As a Producer in charge of specific programs, you will have a hand in those decisions, including the prioritization of new markets, the pace of program growth and the direction of content.
As a Producer at General Assembly, you will be at the center of the technology startup ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to interact with some of the smartest entrepreneurs, hackers and designers on a daily basis — and you will tell them when to show up to class.
