BEAUTY AND FEATURES EDITOR - BRIDE TO BE

Pacific Magazines is seeking an experienced and talented Features and Beauty Editor for a 12-month maternity leave contract to join the Bride to Be editorial team.
Based in Eveleigh and reporting to the editor, you will be responsible for creating features and producing ideas pages that will inform and inspire our readership.
You will have demonstrated experience in writing, commissioning and editing engaging and informative stories for a sophisticated female audience. An eye for imagery and an appreciation of fashion, beauty and styling trends are also vital to this role, as you will work with the art department to compile several primarily image-based pages for every issue.
You will have great beauty-industry contacts and contribute your knowledge of beauty to our nine issues a year, as well as to our website bridetobe.com.au
As a senior member of the team, you will manage the flow of relevant pages within the magazine, working with other staff to ensure that your pages are delivered on time and on budget.
Excellent communication skills are essential to this position, and you must be able to liaise professionally and effectively with all internal and external key stakeholders. A strong interest in the bridal industry and an understanding of the Bride to Be brand is highly advantageous.
