SOYA is Australia's leading grants program for young artists, designers, filmmakers, musicians and creatives. Now in it's seventh year, the Awards reward and support the creative leaders of the future with cash, flights and mentorships with key industry figures.
As Creative Director of SOYA from 2008 I helped re-position the brand, expand the audience and appeal, secured outstanding creative industries icons as mentors, established relationships with Australia's leading creative teams, and transitioned the Awards Night to a new home and format at the MCA.
My input took the annual, nation-wide program to a new level and helped establish it as a credible, newsworthy event on the creative industries calendar.
