About Me
Born in the North of England, James Pass comes from a long family line of creative individuals from Interior, Furniture and Graphic designers to Photographers and Artists.
James earned his creative spurs in his hometown of Sheffield at the steel cities college. A creative institute that over the years has seen the founders of such iconic design agencies ATTIK, Eg.g and Designers Republic learn their craft and leave its doors.
After working at varying agencies in the United Kingdom - James moved to the Middle East in the late 90s, with only his suitcase and portfolio in hand. Bringing his talent and stalwart work ethic to this immerging market. Starting out as the creative lead for Minale Tattersfield Design, James quickly started to carve his name in the market and for which was further enhanced with moves to be Design Director at FITCH. Although based in Dubai - United Arab Emirates, James’ creative experience and exposure has crossed countries and continents through working with International agencies, global clients or one-off freelance projects.
Currently James is the Design Director for International Branding agency Landor Associates - Dubai.
Established in the 1940’s by Walter Landor in San Francisco, Landor invented branding as the founder pioneered consumer research and modern logo design.

With well over a decade’s international experience and exposure within brand identity, communications, advertising, packaging and digital media – James brings a proven knowledge of creative strategy, communication and project management with an emphasis on commercial and creative results as well as Workshops and Brand Training.
Having worked for a wide range of different client industries regionally and international, James has a proven track record success in Hospitality, Real Estate and Retail consumer branding.
Although based in Dubai – United Arab Emirates, James’ creative exposure has seen him work and travel from Bergen to Karachi for varying projects over the years.
