Here you will find information on how to set-up, maintain, get the most out of and remove your personal creative profile, as well as how to apply for jobs, spaces, and connect with other community members on The Loop.
I have forgotten my username or password
You’ll find a link to ‘Forgotten Password/ Username’ in the top right-hand corner of the homepage. Simply click on the text and follow the prompts.
My username or password is not working
The site is case-sensitive, so be sure to use CAPS where appropriate. If you've forgotten if your username has caps, simply click ‘Forgotten Password/ Username’ in the top right-hand corner of our homepage and follow the prompts.
Can I change my username?
Usernames get hardcoded to the site to ensure you and your work can be searched and found easily. As such we can't change them. What you can do is re-register under your preferred username. Once that’s done we can close down your old account on your behalf. When you have successfully re-registered, send an email along with the URL for the account you wish to be deleted.
How can I delete my account?
If you want to delete your account, email us your username and we’ll remove your account. If you do delete your account, your feedback is very important to us. The Loop is still young and our mission is to improve the site to better cater for the creative community.
How can I change my primary profession?
Login and click ‘My Home’, then ‘Edit Profile’, followed by ‘At a Glance’. Then simply add an additional profession by choosing a new profession, expertise and specialties, then click ‘Add Profession’. Once that's done click the red text that says ‘Set as Primary Profession’. This will make the new profession you created your primary profession. You can delete the old primary profession by clicking the icon with a cross next to it. Save your new settings by clicking ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page and your new preferences should be displayed on your profile.
How do I turn on/off email notifications?
Login and click ‘My home’, then ‘Edit Account’, then ‘Email Notifications’. You’ll find the option to turn on and off notifications from The Loop. Select/Deselect the notifications you with to receive/stop receiving and press ‘Save’.
How do I change my email address?
Login and click ‘My home’, then ‘Edit Account’, then click ‘Personal Details’. Type your new email address in the ‘Email’ field and click ‘Save’.
How do I reset my password?
Login and click ‘My Home’, ‘Edit Account’, then click ‘Personal Details’. Type your new password in the ‘Password’ field and click ‘Save’.
HOW DO I CHANGE OUR COMPANY EMAIL ADDRESS?
Login and click ‘My home’, then ‘Edit Profile’, then click ‘Contact Details’. Type your new email address in the ‘Email’ field and click ‘Save’.
HOW DO I RESET OUR COMPANY PASSWORD?
Just login and click, ‘My home’, then ‘Edit Profile’ then click ‘Contact Details’. Type your new password in the ‘Password’ field and click ‘Save’.
HOW DO I EXPIRE JOB/S?
Login and click ‘My home’, then ‘Jobs’, then ‘Manage Jobs’. You can expire the job from here.
How do I contact people on The Loop ?
You need to create a free ‘Company Profile’ before you can contact people in The Loop.
Once registered simply login and browse ‘People’ profiles from across the site, if you want to headhunt someone direct simply send them a ‘Handshake’ by clicking the 'Handshake’ button under their profile picture and start chatting directly. If they accept the handshake you will be charged $10 for the introduction. A small fee for adding top talent to your network.
