With a Bachelor of Business Entrepreneurship and over six years experience in marketing and design, I am not only a marketing strategist, but also an innovative creative with exceptional project management skills. I currently manage brand communications in a multi-brand organisation, designing and coordinating most marketing output from brief design, to communication and then execution for five brands. With a heavy emphasis on visuals, my day-to-day operations involve print media, POS, photographic campaigns, video campaigns, direct marketing, web, public relations and events, all at both a wholesale and retail level across Australia and New Zealand. I also lead visual merchandising nationally for the three retail brands.
With me also comes access to a large network of freelance contractors specializing in areas from graphic design to video editing, to branding, industrial design and many more. Although I have little direct reporting internal staff, my bigger challenge of management is pulling together a team of external contractors to work on projects together and deliver exceptional results on time and on budget.
My employment experience has been based in the fashion industry, however my freelance career has expanded my skills into working with a large variety of businesses from high-end fashion to hair care and even motorbikes. I am looking to transfer my exceptional creative direction, project management and time management skills into a new and challenging environment that can encompass my broad range of skills.
A true 'jack of all trades' position managing all forms of visual marketing communications for a multi brand organisation. This includes visual advertising campaigns, print, point of sale collateral, P.R management, web, overseeing visual merchandising and managing external agencies and freelancers. It is not only my job to create the brief and communicate it, but to project manage the execution and ensure the project is delivered on time and on Budget.
This role started on the shop floor whilst I was studying and progressed into combining national visual merchandising with the day to day runnings of the marketing department. From assisting in photo shoots to managing PR agencies and stylists, this role was exposed to many areas of a growing boutique business.
