There's a recording somewhere of Christine Jane aged 2 singing 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly' from My Fair Lady. In many ways she remains that starry eyed dreamer with a song ever in her heart and on the tip of her tongue...
Her voice belies that of her twenty-something years and she has a wide range of influences; from Beck to David Bowie, Crowded House to Chris Isaak, and Al Green to Frank Sinatra.
Christine Jane has graced music theatre, film, and television. She has performed at the Sydney Opera House, the Surry Hills Festival, the Seymour Centre, and the Queen Victoria Building to name a few.
Having recorded a few demos and a CD of choral arrangements in 2004 with the Australian Pop Choir, Christine Jane is very excited to be working on her debut EP which is due for release in 2011.
A contributor to soundtracks (such as shorts Two Nights, The Branch, and MTV pilot The Sellers), Christine Jane has recently found herself producing music for film, TV and theatre as well as acting, doing voice over work, and writing in many forms.
