Was lucky enough to gain a short term fill in position as art director for Lots Wife newspaper.The newspaper was awarded 'Best Student Paper in Australia for 2010'
Role included sourcing of creative imagery to match articles and news features, typesetting of all contents, and cover design for the federal election issue. Was a great experience!
Main work included photo restorations, touchups and professional photographic printing of films, slides and digital images. Learnt a lot about the processes of photo manipulation and photographic printing in the time i was employed with digital dog.

Christie Williams (aka Miss Chris Illustration) is a young lady with a passion for drawing sophisticated yet light-hearted images with elegance and allure. Her very ladylike illustrations are created in her chic studio nestled amongst the tall mountain ash in the Dandenong Ranges.
Her portfolio shows a diverse variety of illustrations including fashion, retro inspired ladies and accessories, modern portraits, illustrated wedding cakes, cute ballerinas and more. Christie's personal style of fashion illustration meets portraiture has been exhibited across Australia and always features a gorgeous outfit or accessory with a well captured expression.
Since graduating from Monash University's Bachelor of design in 2011, christie moved straight into a role as a graphic designer for a well know greeting card company where her passion for design and feminine illustration has been utilised in her everyday work. Still employed with them today she enjoys creating greeting cards with a light and fun twist on traditional captions for everyday and seasonal cards.
Christie has also begun selling her sweet feminine designs at various markets and events across victoria, with a range of prints featuring fashion, food, sweet children's imagery and many more interesting images embellished with glitter and gems to make the perfect sparkling gift for all ages.
