About Me
Callum Yeo is an enthusiastic and optimistic designer who continually thinks outside the box.
He has been a designer for most of his life and has a history of work demonstrating originality.
Throughout his teen years Callum loved to design for print mediums and had a strong interest in Architecture and Landscape design. He had the opportunity to design his parent’s family home, including landscaping, and was awarded runner-up for the best front garden in the local shire area.
In his final years of High School, Callum was awarded many prizes for his photography work, graphic design and paintings. His photography series ‘The Beauty of Modern Architecture’ was exhibited in Top Designs at The Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Callum was offered a scholarship to attend The Australian Academy of Design, Docklands to further his studies. Turning down the offer, he chose to attend the world renowned Monash University to complete a Bachelor of Design: Visual Communication. While studying at Monash University, Callum believed it was important to gain practical industry experience and registered his own business named Charactar.
Since forming Charactar, Callum has had the opportunity to work with many businesses and not for profit organisations offering a range of design options such as corporate identity design, magazine design, signage, brochures, advertising materials, personal wedding invitations, banners, event promotions and much more.
