Howdy!
I’m Brett Hamm, executive writer at Copy Transmission. I specialise in brand voicing and social media strategy.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne’s Ashworth Program in Social Theory, I cut my teeth working communications for a federal MP. In 2009, I took my abilities to the private sector, managing the messages of corporate, government and community clients as senior copywriter and social media consultant at Qualia Creative.
In 2011, I established copy, content and strategy firm Copy Transmission with David J Ling, PhD where we continue to write and consult on branding and social media for some of Australia’s most recognisable brands and organisations.
As a social media pundit, I’ve published a dozen social media campaign case
studies and two social media white papers for leading Australian social media training business, Social Media Knowledge (SMK).
Also a bit of a social trend-watcher, my commentary and criticism is frequently published by Broadsheet, mX, SMK and the Herald Sun.
I emigrated from Canada in 2001 and I’m fluent in French.
I’m also an absolutely tragic Liverpool F.C. fan.
Copy, content and concept creator.
