About Me
I loved building things with Lego from a young age, and it has all grown from there. I used to put together all my individual lego technic vehicles, break apart the cool parts and turn them into a super machine!
I got into design during high school and by year 10 had decided a career in Industrial Design was the best way to satisfy my interests in a range of areas including graphics, art, maths and physics.
I went straight from year 12 into the 4 year degree at RMIT, and the years flew by as I undertook a vast range of projects.
I developed a love for the digital to compensate for my lack of skill with a pen and continue to build on those abilities at every opportunity.
I've worked as a freelancer for a few individuals and small companies, mainly creating and refining designs using CAD and being involved in all areas of the design process.
I spent roughly 2.5 years refining my skills and building my knowledge base before landing my first full-time design role at Gush Creative in May 2010. During the years since graduating I was also fortunate enough to spend time as a Sessional Lecturer at RMIT University working in the program I had graduated from and teaching CAD to 2nd year Industrial Design students. This time really refined my technical skills and knowledge and my ability to find the best solution for any given modelling task.
In 2011 I've settled into a position at Active Display Group and am looking forward to completing interesting projects there and in my own time I am looking for other opportunities to progress my own brand and further develop my knowledge and technical ability.
