I'm an English writer and interactive content editor with over ten years' experience in the music and entertainment industry. Basically speaking, your go-to guy for sharp copy and creative direction.
I essentially combine copywriting and journalism with marketing and promotional strategy, working primarily with companies and corporations that require some creative foresight.
You’d be forgiven for finding my background somewhat colourful and my career path just a tad unconventional; I started out (mid-nineties) as a recording artist and lyricist (co-frontman for Aspects) while freelancing for various print publications. Towards the end of the naughties I could be found in New Zealand, where I worked for Satellite Media, the country’s leading independent entertainment company.
To date, I’ve worked alongside companies such as Sony, Universal, EMI, Warner, Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Omnifone and Kiwibank and with magazines such as Knowledge, Undercover, Black, Back 2 Basics and Rip It Up among others.
Today my work is increasingly varied—I've recently relocated to London and am currently involved in several ongoing freelance projects.
I am open to offers both freelance and permanent.
