Music Critic Buzz Post At BuzzPost my role is to attend indie music concerts, listen to new bands - online and live, and review their work. As part of the BuzzPost team i also help with the site direction by meeting with the BuzzPost directer John Cooke. During these meetings we develop goals and initiatives with the purpose to be able to provide a platform for upcoming artists to promote and share their talents , starting local - then reaching out into the wider community. |

Singer Songwriter Annie McKinnon Coonabarabran born, Annie brought her music to Sydney in 2010 and has found herself with many great opportunities since her arrival. Annie is quickly gaining attention in the industry and has recently played along side artists such as Oh Mercy, Ian Moss (Cold Chisel), Jess Harlen, Ngaiire, Elana Stone, Underlights and Emma Davis. Annie topped the Triple J Unearthed roots chart 5 weeks running in November 2010, and scored track position 1 on Drum Media's 'Acid Tapes', released in late 2011. 2011 also saw the release of Annie's first EP 'The Endless Run' on Peppermint Records, Independent label. With her focus firmly on the future, Annie is constantly evolving her sound and live show to reach greater limits and new expectations. There is more to come from this young talent, with the anticipated release of her second EP in 2012, and plans for Aus tours throughout the year. Definitely one to keep an eye on with big things expected to come. |
