Saneco is an emergency sanitation system designed to help improve the standard of living for refugee and IDP camps.
Separation of the urine and faeces prevents contamination and reduces waste by allowing these products to be converted into compost and fertiliser.
A lever system at the rear of the structure allows safe removal of the storage tumbler, which can be easily transported to a treatment facility and emptied without the worry of contamination.
The product has also been designed with stackability in mind to help reduce transportation costs.
