Victoria Garcia is a 23 year old artist, designer and illustrator from Sydney, Australia.
For the last three years she has worked as a textiles designer where she creates digital textile print designs for both local and international clients that have included Ginger and Smart, Peter Alexander, Marnie Skillings and Karen Walker. She was recently awarded The Sir William Dobell Foundation Award for Drawing.
Victoria's approach to graphic and textile design has been heavily influenced by her illustrative work and she specializes in creating hand drawn imagery and pattern.

In March 2012, I was selected from over 300 emerging artist applicants to participate in the Art Month Sydney Speed Dating Event, where 20 emerging artists met with 20 of Sydneys top galleries.
The Sir William Dobell Art Foundation wishes to encourage excellence in drawing and draughtsmanship. This student prize was awarded by the Foundation for the drawing installation 'Surrocodelia'.
WGSN - short for Worth Global Style Network, is the world's largest trend forecasting service. They set out an illustration competition with a prize valued at $17 000. My illustrated type design won first place for Longina Phillips Studios.
