About Me

Vanessa Loh is a Freelance Costume Designer.

Starting her professional life in Fashion she quickly found her true calling in Film after delving into music videos.

She has worked with many notable Australian & New Zealand musicians including Silverchair, Little Birdy, Sleepy Jackson & The Grates.

Wrapping up end of March 2011, Vanessa completed another design ‘credit’, for TV; as key Costume Designer for an Australian television series called SLiDE, Fox 8. Just this year she recently designed another Australian television series called, The Strange Calls, ABC 2. Working alongside Australian actor/singer legend Barry Crocker.

Additionally she has also designed three Australian films and numerous tv commercials.

With a primary focus in 'people', she is interested in human nature, the 'human condition' and how this influences one's choice of dress and expression through clothing. She has a deep curiosity with design processes and loves developing a character's wardrobe.
