Working in the mediums of printmaking, drawing and performance my work looks at emotional and psychological states of being within contemporary society. My artworks often use figures in relation to a natural element, the natural element representing an extension of the figures state of being. I am interested in the beauty of nature and the human form, especially in relation to the chaos and decay that occurs in everyday life. The emotional and psychological states that I like to deal with in my work are often those of ambiguity, the states of being in between joy and rage.
