About Me
“Sprinkles” is a self taught contemporary artist based in Sydney. Hailing from Palmerston North New Zealand, with a well rooted sense of Cook Island, Maori and Chinese heritage, "Sprinkles" is now burning a well respected name for himself on the world art stage. With a thirst for progression and a forever evolving illustrative style, Sprinks’ works strive to portray the many different faces we can find within our selves.
Based on a foundation of family and friendship, his wild haired and heavily made up creations ride an evolved relationship with tattoo machines, aerosol cans, strong lines and bold colors to communicate the bonds we make and break everyday.
His work can be found on street and gallery walls in Australia and New Zealand, skin all over the world, and has been shown in publications such as “Inked” tattoo, “Clouded Thoughts”, and “Primo! magazine”.
He has worked with the likes of Channel V, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Absolut Vodka, AMP, and ING Direct, and was a Sydney grand finalist in the 2011 “Secret Wars” phenomenon.
Sprinkles was also a feature artist alongside prolific artisans Roa, Ethos, and Kid Zoom in “Outpost”, Sydney’s largest international street art festival.
