I've been working in the television industry for the last 6 years and have been fortunate to have worked on some great shows, including ones recognised across the globe; such as Strictly Come Dancing (Dancing with Stars), Weakest Link, Big Brother and Don't Forget the Lyrics and since being in Australia I have worked on the audition tour for Australia's Next Top Model with Granada and Foxtel.
Back in the UK I was working at ITV; one of the UK’s main terrestrial channels as an Assistant Producer on a Factual DIY show called 60 Minute Makeover. I did a lot of shooting on a Z1, as well as being responsible for finding and interviewing suitable contributors and sourcing furnishings with an extremely tight budget. Previous to this I was a Music Assistant Producer on Sky One's 'Don't Forget the Lyrics'. Both shows required me to work under extreme pressure at times which is something I really enjoy and is one of my strengths.
As well as being very organised and able to prioritise my work load accordingly, I feel that my strengths include casting; finding suitable contributors and adapting what it is I'm looking for depending on the type of show. I really enjoy casting and am good at identifying and developing a good story. I'm also very experienced working with the public, having hosted many audition tours across the country on shows such as Weakest Link, giving me great communication skills and I have strong writing skills from years of writing in-depth biographies.
In between television contracts I have worked as a Website Content Editor for a leading marketing company in London. With quite a varied CV I feel that I am easily adaptable and have a lot of strong skills to work on a variety of shows with experience in generating ideas quickly and working on quick turnaround shows with tight deadlines.
