Held the day before the Semi-Permanent Creative Conference Melbourne on Thursday September 22nd from 11am - 6pm at the GPO, Melbourne, The Masterclass Sessions will give attendees a unique and intimate opportunity to learn practical tips and insights on photography, digital design and portfolio design from global and local creative leaders.

DIGITAL DESIGN MASTERCLASS WITH DESIGN VISIONARY, SCOTT DADICH

Kicking off at 11am on Thursday September 22nd the Digital Design Masterclass with Scott Dadich will provide a valuable insight into emerging digital design & development principles. VP of magazine development at Condé Nast in New York, Scott Dadich is one of the most influential people in publishing today working on magazines such as Vanity Fair, Vogue, GQ & The New Yorker. Scott led the development of the highly acclaimed Wired for iPad. The app was downloaded nearly 100,000 times in its first month and has proven to be the most successful iPad magazine title launched to date. At the same time, Scott worked closely with the editorial and art teams at The New Yorker to launch The New Yorker Tablet Edition, which debuted at #4 on the iTunes Top Grossing apps and has since been named the best publication app by iMonitor.

PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERCLASS WITH WORLD RENOWED PHOTOGRPAHER, PLATON

Widely acknowledged as one of the worlds leading portrait photographers, Platon has photographed the likes of Barack Obama, Muammar Qaddafi, Vladimir Putin, Al Pacino, George Clooney and many many more. In his intimate Photography Masterclass, Platon, will give an insight into how to become successful in the highly competitive world of photography. He will discuss the technical aspects of his craft and how photographing such powerful people affects his work, and what it takes to gain their trust and co-operation. Kicking off at 1pm on Thursday September 22nd the Photography Masterclass with Platon will be invaluable to anyone interested in photography & portraiture.

PORTFOLIO MASTERCLASS MENTORED BY SEMI-PERMANENT CONFERENCE SPEAKERS AND LEADING MELBOURNE BASED CREATIVE DIRECTORS

The final session of the day will be a Portfolio Masterclass, giving junior creatives the opportunity to have their portfolio reviewed by Semi-Permanent conference speakers and leading Melbourne based Creative Directors. The session will kick off at 3.30pm Thursday September 22nd and is perfect for any junior creative looking to get advice and feedback on their portfolio.
